This year's program will focus on addressing, preventing and building resilience against racism. The following dates have been allocated to the 2016 Schools Congress Program. Reconciliation SA is now accepting advanced expressions of interest from schools. Due to potential demand, please limit participation to 6-8 students, identified as school leaders, in the first instance. All expressions of interest should be directed to Mark Waters, State Manager.
Reconciliation SA will be leading a group of year 10 and 11 Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal students on an 11 day commemorative trek along the Kokoda Track in 2017. This will be a unique reconciliation opportunity for the students, their teachers and mentors and will build resilience in these emerging young leaders.
This portable display showcases inspirational South Australian stories. The service men and woman featured represent the thousands of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who have served in the Navy, Army and Air Force over the past century.
