The Joint Parliamentary Committee on Constitutional Recognition is to hold consultations in SA between September 15-17.
In February 2014, Ken Wyatt, Chair of the Joint Parliamentary Committee on Constitutional Recognition, flagged that he would return with the rest of the Joint Parliamentary Committee to consult with South Australians about the possible model for Constitutional Recognition.
The Committee will hear evidence at the following sites:
· Port Lincoln – September 15
· Port Augusta – September 16
· Adelaide – September 17

Individuals, groups and organisations can make a submission to the Committee online or in writing. Similarly, people can request to make a verbal submission to the Committee through the Committee’s Secretariat:

People can come to the Committee and observe its processes. At each site, the Committee has tended to have an open community forum in the afternoon after 3pm where any individuals can attend and ask questions

Everyone is encouraged to bring their comments, opinions, questions and interests or concerns to the Committee at whatever level you feel comfortable.
