Don’t miss this unique and inspiring opportunity to be part of a conversation that's important for everyone.
For the last three years, Reconciliation SA and ActNow Theatre have delivered a Schools' Congress "I'm not racist but...", which has reached thousands of students and teachers across the state, facilitating important but difficult conversations about race. It’s vital that parents, teachers and community leaders join South Australia’s young people in this conversation, as reconciliation is everyone’s business.Together, we are proud to present “Generations of Change”, an empowering event for parents, teachers and others working in the education sector which;
- explores what individuals can do on an interpersonal level to respond to racism;
- presents resources that explore racism and the effect that it has on people;
- discusses cultural safety and how we can support cultural safety in schools.
Generations of Change also includes ActNow Theatre's interactive Forum Theatre performance Responding to Racism which focuses on addressing, preventing and building resilience against racism. If you are interested in collective action to improve safety within the community,join us for this free event.
