Michael O'Loughlin honours our survivorsReconciliation SA is pleased to welcome Michael O'Loughlin as the keynote speaker at the 7th Annual Anniversary of the National Apology to the Stolen Generations Breakfast to be held on Friday 13th February 2015 from 7.00-9.00am at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
Michael O'Loughlin is a Narungga, Kaurna and Ngarrindjeri man who grew up in Salisbury North, Adelaide. He went on to pay 303 AFL Games for the Sydney Swans and was named in the Indigenous AFL Team of The Century. He is the Founder and Director of The Go Foundtation. He currently is working as the High Performance Manager with the Sydney Swans. Currently, Michael serves as a Recognise Ambassador.
This year's breakfast event is held to honour the survivors of the Stolen Generation and continues to inform the non-Aboriginal community about their ongoing needs.
