ANTaR SA Mabo Day Forum
The Forum will bring a focus to the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indgenous Peoples, that Australia formally supported in April last year.
And looking at what this should mean for Australia if we take the principles identified in the Declaration seriously.
Speakers to be confirmed - some will speak about the UN Declaration at the broad international level, and others will focus on what it should mean locally, for the ways that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and their rights are recognised, particularly by Governments.
Light refreshments will be provided.
Please check the ANTaR SA website for further details as they are confirmed - http://antarsa.auspics.org.au/
