Reconciliation Week 2010 Program

Event Details

Art Exhibition and Launch

Suitable for all ages. Artworks by local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists. Demonstration by Aboriginal artist commences at 5.30pm (Monday 24 May). Launch of exhibition at 6.oopm, Monday 24 May. Light refreshments available.

The Art Exhibition is open to the public during regular Library hours.

Reconciliation  Feature Garden feedback session

A Reconciliation Feature Garden is being built on Civic Park at Modbury. The artists engaged to develop the ‘ground based art’ component will be presenting their proposed designs for this part of the garden. Light refreshments available.

Painting and Weaving workshop – come and have a try!

This workshop will be led by artists from Marra Dreaming. All welcome to come and have a try and learn more about Aboriginal culture.
