Reconciliation Week Breakfast

Be the change; I am the change

Reconciliation South Australia believes that courageous leadership across all sectors of the community is key in closing the gap in areas such as health, education and employment. Within state and local government, the business community and the education not-for-profit sectors, there are examples where such leadership has resulted in significant benefits for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities; as employees, as clients and suppliers and as members of the community within which they conduct their business.

To mark the beginning of Reconciliation Week 2010, Felicity-Ann Lewis, Mayor of the City of Marion and President of the Local Government Association will host this not-to-be-missed breakfast on behalf of Reconciliation South Australia. A traditional Kaurna Welcome to Country and cultural performance will be followed by The Honourable Grace Portolesi MP, Minister for Aboriginal Affairs and Reconciliation.
